Job Overview:
We are currently hiring on behalf of one of our clients, a travel agency, for the position of Reservations & Ticketing Executive.
This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong experience in airline reservations, ticketing, and sales, who can deliver excellent customer service while maximizing booking opportunities. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with Sabre GDS and a proven ability to convert inquiries into sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle inbound and outbound customer inquiries related to flight bookings and travel services
Manage reservations, ticket issuance, reissuance, cancellations, and refunds using Sabre GDS
Promote and sell travel products, upgrades, and add-ons to maximize revenue
Provide accurate fare quotations, itineraries, and travel advice
Deliver exceptional customer service across phone, email, and chat channels
Resolve customer issues efficiently while maintaining a high level of satisfaction
Stay updated on airline policies, fare rules, and travel regulations
Maintain accurate records of bookings and transactions
Requirements:
Proven experience in reservations and ticketing within the travel industry
Mandatory: Hands-on experience with Sabre GDS
Sales experience is required (ability to upsell and convert leads into bookings)
Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills
Fluency in English (spoken and written)
Ability to work night shifts (5:00 PM – 1:00 AM, Egypt Time)
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Ability to handle high-volume interactions and meet performance targets
Previous experience in a travel agency or airline is a strong plus
